The Reliable Air Approach

When ducted cooling isn't the answer.

Some spaces just don't work with central air. A converted garage with no return duct. A bedroom over the garage that's a sauna in July. An ADU or casita that doesn't tie into the main system. A home office where you want to control the temperature independently from the rest of the house.

Mini splits solve all of it. They're quieter than central systems, they're dramatically more efficient (most modern units carry SEER ratings well over 20), and they let you cool exactly the rooms you're using without paying to cool the ones you're not. We install single-zone and multi-zone setups across the Valley.

Why Reliable Air

Mini splits done right look like they belong there.

Most installations get the technical part right and the aesthetic part wrong. We treat both as equally important — clean line covers, level mounting, hidden conduits where possible.

Right-Sized for the Space

Oversized units short-cycle and waste energy. Undersized units run constantly and never reach setpoint. We do real load calculations.

Multiple Brand Options

Mitsubishi, Daikin, LG, Fujitsu, and others. We'll recommend based on your space and budget, not on what we make the most margin on.

Clean Aesthetic

Line covers that match your stucco. Hidden conduit where possible. Indoor units that hang level and look intentional.

Full Permit & Warranty

All installations permitted properly. Manufacturer warranty registered for you. Workmanship warranty backed by us.

Common Questions

Mini split questions, answered.

How much does a mini split installation cost?
A single-zone setup typically runs in the low-to-mid four figures, depending on capacity and brand. Multi-zone systems vary based on how many indoor heads and total tonnage. We do free in-home assessments and give you a written quote before any work — no obligation.
Are mini splits actually quieter?
Significantly. Most indoor units run at 19–32 dB on low — quieter than a whisper. The condenser sits outside, and even that's quieter than a comparable central unit because of the inverter compressor.
Can I cool my whole house with mini splits?
Absolutely. Multi-zone systems can run up to 8 indoor units off a single outdoor condenser. The advantage is per-room control — bedrooms can run cooler at night without cooling the empty rest of the house.
How long do mini splits last?
With regular maintenance, 15–20 years is realistic for most quality brands. The inverter compressors are designed for variable load, so they don't take the same beating as a single-stage central system.
