Emergency service questions.

What counts as an emergency?
Generally: no cooling during a heat advisory, no heat during a freeze warning, water leaking that's actively damaging your home, electrical issues with smoke or burning smell, or any safety concern. If you're unsure, call — we'll help you figure it out.
How fast can you really get out?
Same-day in most cases — often within hours. During the hottest weeks of summer when call volume peaks, we may be slightly longer. We always give you a realistic window upfront, not a fake one to keep you on the hook.
Do you charge extra for nights or weekends?
We charge a modest after-hours fee for true after-hours calls (overnight, holidays), but our standard rates apply during regular extended hours. We don't double-bill for emergencies during business hours just because you're stressed.
What should I do while I wait for you?
Turn the system off at the thermostat to prevent damage. If it's hot, close blinds, run ceiling fans, and stay hydrated. If you have pets or vulnerable family members, get them to a cool space (a friend's house, a mall, a hotel if needed). We'll get there as fast as we can.
